MARION, IOWA (June 20, 2010)—John Hall and his Left Turn Enterprises racing team finally got back on the track and had an up and down night at the Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, on Saturday, June 19. After being rained out for the previous two weeks, the No. 7H and the rest of the 360 class finally got back on the black gumbo for the Mid-Season Championship. However, track conditions took a beating from two weeks of constant rains. Hall started his night on a good note, posting a qualifying lap of 16.936 seconds around the half-mile track, good for ninth out of the 27 competitors. He started fourth in his heat race, but it was stacked with some of the strongest cars and he finished sixth. That started him fourth in the B-Main. It was a tough fight in this race, but Hall managed to keep his position and made the transfer to the A-Main. He started and finished 20^th in the 15-lap main event. However, when the race went under a yellow flag with two laps left, Hall's car came to a stop on the track and the motor would not fire again. The team will be looking to find the origin of the mechanical problem this week before the Knoxville Championship Cup Series races again next Saturday, June 26. Car owners are Charles and Doris Hall. Crew members are Darrell Bonesteel, Steve Lindell, Cass Page and Cole Page. Sponsors include APC Emmert Metal Fabricators, Thompson Aero Service, Marion Dairy Queen, Brake Man Brake Systems, Chalk Stix Torsion Bars, Team Enterprises, Parker Engines and Butler Built Seat Systems. The team continues to actively seek funding for its 2010 efforts. New sponsorship at all levels is welcome for the season, partial season or even a one-race opportunity. John Hall Racing now has T-shirts available for purchase, as well. The team's website at www.johnhallracing.com contains more information. And a “John Hall Racing #7H” fan page has been created for those on Facebook and provides updates on race nights.
