O'REILLY USMTS MODIFIEDS INVADE CRESCO THURSDAY

CRESCO, IA (July 12, 2006) - This Thursday night, July 13, will be the final
appearance of the 2006 racing season for the O'Reilly Auto Parts United states
Modified Touring Series at the Cresco Speedway in Cresco, Iowa. The 2nd Annual
Featherlite Cresco Clash will see the O'Reilly USMTS drivers battling for a
$2,000 top prize, with $250 to start the main event.
Thursday's blowout at the Howard County Fairgrounds will also feature the USRA
Casey's General Stores Weekly Racing Series in action. USRA Stock Cars ($400 to
win), USRA Hobby Stocks ($300 to win), USRA B-Mods ($300 to win) and Outlaw
Hobbies ($300 to win) will be in action with both track and national points
being awarded in all classes. There is no USRA license required to compete, and
all classes will utilize a draw/redraw format to determine line-ups.
Gates will open at 5 p.m. with hot laps slated for 7 and racing to follow.
There will be no racing at the Cresco Speedway on Sunday, July 16.
