MARSH RACING WHEELS RETURNS AS SPONSOR OF O’REILLY USMTS
“HALFWAY LEADER AWARD”
by: Jeff Nun
SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. (Feb. 2, 2007) - The O’Reilly Auto Parts United States
Modified Touring Series announced today that Marsh Racing Wheels has signed on
as the Official “Halfway Leader Award” Sponsor for the 2007 season. This will be
the second consecutive season that MRW has supported the rugged road warriors of
the O’Reilly USMTS.
As part of their commitment to the tireless O’Reilly USMTS competitors, Marsh
Racing Wheels will offer a $50 product certificate to the leader of the halfway
lap of every O’Reilly USMTS "A" Main during the 2007 season, provided that
driver is utilizing Marsh Racing Wheels. If the halfway leader is not using
Marsh Racing Wheels, the prize carries over until the next race, and so on until
the award is won.
In 2006, both Dean Mahlstedt and Mark Noble cashed in on the MRW Halfway Leader
Award.
"We are very excited to be involved with the USMTS again and the Halfway Leader
Award will build a lot of excitement," said Marsh Racing Tires president Brant
Chenoweth. "I believe as the product certificates double, triple, quadruple or
more that speculation about who will be the next winner will be a hot topic in
the pits. Some lucky racer could win free wheels for the remainder of 2007 and
the entire 2008 season!"
Located in Siloam Springs, Ark., Marsh Racing Wheels is entering their 52nd year
of producing racing wheels that are designed for the rigors of the motorsports
industry. Marsh Racing Wheels are the culmination of over 51 years of dirt track
racing experiences put into the design of a rim that is built on MRW's own
equipment to racing specs.
