ALTA, Iowa (June 14) – The USMTS Casey’s General Stores National Tour is back in action this week with a mouth-watering line-up of events showcasing the premier dirt modified drivers in America. Featuring an exciting mix of familiar venues, as well as several new locales, the on-track action is certain to satisfy every race fan's hunger for speed and wheel-to-wheel competition. On Wednesday, June 16, the series invades the Buena Vista Raceway in Alta, Iowa, for the 3rd Annual Cookies Sauces & Seasonings Battle at the Beaver. NASCAR veteran and SPEED Channel broadcaster Kenny Wallace will be competing against the USMTS mud-slingers in his own Federated Auto Parts modified and signing autographs for the fans during intermission. Pit gates will open at 5 p.m., grandstands open at 6, hot laps begin at 6:30 and the first heat race is scheduled to take the green flag at 7 p.m. Also on the racing card will be IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA SportMods, IMCA Hobby Stocks, Bombers and Sport Compacts. Race fans can pick up $2-off coupons on Thursday at Casey's General Stores locations in Alta, Aurelia and Storm Lake. To find the Casey's location nearest you, check out www.caseys.com online.
