WORLD DIRT RACING LEAGUE SCHEDULES TWO MORE RACES
One, at Iowa's new Mineral City Speedway, follows an event in Albion, Neb.

GILMAN CITY, MO. (May 22, 2009) - The stars and cars of the WORLD Dirt Racing League are about to get a little busier.

WDRL has added two more races to the 2009 schedule, series officials are announcing. One of them will take place at one of the newest and nicest dirt facilities in Iowa -- the beautiful Mineral City Speedway in Ft. Dodge.

"We are excited about going to another new venue, especially at such a nice facility," said WDRL's Jim Wilson of the Fort Dodge track.

This race has been scheduled for Monday, July 13, and will follow the touring series' annual stop at the action-packed Boone County Speedway in Albion, Neb., on Sunday, July 12.

The Midwest-based Late Model touring series also has added a second race at the beautiful North Central Speedway in Brainerd, Minn. This event has been scheduled for Tuesday, July 28, and will be part of a three-day swing that includes Superior (Wisconsin) Speedway on Wednesday, July 29, and Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wis., on Thursday, July 30.

Prior to that, WDRL will have made its first-ever appearance at North Central Speedway on Wednesday, June 17. From there series drivers head to Superior Speedway on Thursday, June 18, and end up at Cedar Lake Speedway on Friday and Saturday night, June 19 and 20, for two exciting nights of racing and the fabled "Masters."
