ASCS Midwest Marches Solo to Junction this Friday!
McCOOL JUNCTION, NE (May 21, 2012) – The Speedway Motors ASCS Midwest Region prepares for a Thursday/Friday double this Memorial Holiday Weekend.
Following a Thursday night battle with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour presented by MavTV, the Midwest madness will go it alone on Friday night, May 25th at Junction Motor Speedway in McCool Junction, Nebraska.
With early season weekends at I-80 Speedway and Eagle Raceway in the books, the Speedway Motors ASCS Midwest Region has featured four different winners in as many events.
Friday night’s ASCS Midwest solo at Junction will feature the sixth event on an 18 race Midwest slate this season and the final Midwest match in May. It will also feature the first of three ASCS Midwest Region visits to Junction Motor Speedway.
Waverly, Nebraska native Stu Snyder holds the early advantage in the point standings, but a spate of teams are within close range, including Springfield, Nebraska’s two-time and reigning Speedway Motors ASCS Midwest Region Champion Jack Dover.
