Axle Exchange returns to three national decal programs, rewards track champions in five IMCA divisions
DES MOINES, Iowa (May 29) – Axle Exchange has renewed an awards program benefitting drivers in five IMCA divisions.
The Des Moines, Iowa, manufacturer of the Fast Shaft brand of drive shafts gives $25 product certificates to the more than 350 drivers who will win IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modified, IMCA Sunoco Stock Car, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod or Scoggin-Dicky Parts Center Southern SportMod track titles this season.
The company also returns to national decal programs for the Stock Cars and both SportMod divisions, providing a portion of point funds paid in each.
Drivers must display two Fast Shafts decals on their race car to be eligible. Track champion product certificates and point fund checks will be presented during the national banquet in November, or mailed beginning the following week from the IMCA home office.
In its 11th season as a marketing partner with IMCA, Axle Exchange also returns as sponsor of the 10th annual Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational and will furnish a portion of the purse paid to Modified starters in the Sept. 6 special during the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.
Each All-Star driver also receives a custom chrome moly drive shaft. Seventy-five different drivers from 22 states and Canada have been elected to the All-Star field since the invitational’s inception in 2004.
Ninety drivers are already on the ballot for the 2013 Invitational. All are regional or state champions, or won feature events paying $1,000 or more held since last July 17.
