BLOOMFIELD, IA (Aug 27, 2012) – Well we certainly need the rain but the Saturday afternoon downpour ruined a big Season Championship night at the Mtn. Dew Bloomfield Speedway! Congratulations to our season points champions: Kevin Kirkpatrick-Sport Compact, Rocky Fosdyck-Hobby Stock, Mike Harward-Stock Car, Mike Shelton-Sport Mod, and Tyler Vandekamp-Modified.

As a result …

of the rain Knoxville Speedway canceled their season championships last Saturday and due to an opening in their schedule they were able to push it back to Sept. 1. However, this means our Cold Truth-Busch Light Winged 305 Sprint Car race (combined points series with Knoxville) previously scheduled for Sept. 1 will need to be pushed back…..

So, the last 305 Sprint Race will now join our Border Wars Fall Challenge Saturday September 29. It will still be $800 to win the feature with full payout listed on our ‘payouts’ page.

THIS WEEKEND SEPT. 1!
Our stock car Triple 25 – $925.00 to win race will still be our headliner for this Sat. Sept. 1 Little Leaguers’ Special, but the other classes/schedule will be adjusted….
Now we WILL run the Sport Mods $500 to win 20 lap feature, we WILL run the Hobby Stocks $300 to win, Sport Compacts will pay $200 to win, and….A-Modifieds WILL be on the racing card with $500 to win….all races will be draw-redraw. Full payouts will be listed on our ‘payouts’ page.
