Brian Harris brings Deery Series point lead to Dubuque
DUBUQUE, Iowa (May 6) – Brian Harris brings the point lead to town when the Deery Brothers Summer Series travels to Dubuque Speedway for a $3,000 to win show on Wednesday, May 8.
The 27th annual IMCA Late Model tour was to have opened April 5 at Dubuque. Both that event and the rescheduled April 14 show, however, were lost to inclement weather.
Forecasts this time around look much more promising. Pit gates will open at 4:30 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5:30 p.m. Hot laps are at 6:30 p.m. with racing to follow.
Grandstand admission is $16 for adults, $14 for seniors, $10 for students and free for kids 12 and under when accompanying a paid adult. Pit passes are $30.
IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds are also on the midweek card.

From Davenport, Harris finished third in each of the first two series events. He chased Ray Guss Jr. of Milan, Ill., and Mike Zemo Jr., also of Davenport, across the stripe in the Sunday Deery feature at Quad City Speedway.
Two more series dates are on the calendar this month, on May 21 at Farley Speedway and May 27 at Boone Speedway.
