FARLEY, IA (May 18, 2012) – Joel Callahan grabbed the lead at the drop of the green flag and never looked back as he went on to win his second IMCA late model feature win in a row here at the farley speedway friday night.Callahan drove a flawless race leading the twenty five lapper from flag to flag as the fifth year driver in a late model was followed across the line by Tyler Breuning in second,Luke Goedert third,Ron Klein fourth,with Nick Marolf fifth.Tyler Breuning and Ron Klein posted heat race wins.
iN the IMCA modified feature Adam Johnson drove a great race throughout leading the twenty lapper from flag to flag in capturing the win here friday night.Johnson held off a late charge from Mark Schulte for the win.Jerry Luloff was third,Ryan DeShaw fourth,with Bobby Moyer fifth.Heat races were won by Adam Johnson and Jerry Luloff.
In the SPI Stock Car division twenty six year racing veteran Jerry Miles captured win number four here friday night leading the final ten laps of the fifteen lapper for victory.Joe Bonney was second,Jarett Franzen third,Steve Miller fourth,with Tim Schneider fifth.Ricky Brokus won the stock car heat race.
Austin Moyer grabbed the lead midway through the fifteen lapper and went on to win his fourth feature win of the seaon in the IMCA sport mod division.A great start in the young season for this second year driver.Tyler Soppe was second,Aric Becker third,Austin Heacock fourth,with Jeremy Campbell fifth.Heat races were won by Creston Williams and Johnny Williams.
In the IMCA Hobby Stock division Brandon Beschen lead the ten lapper flag to flag for the win.Chris Luloff was second,Rod Grother third,Vince Bucholz fourth with Randy Vandevegte fifth.Brandon Beschen was the heat race winner.
In the IMCA Sport Compacts Bob Taggert won for the second time this season.Eric McDonough was second,Lane Vohringer third,Justin Schroeder fourth,with Lenny Ollendick fifth.Eric McDonough was the heat race winner.
