CJ Speedway Set to Host Season Opener Friday, April 18

Columbus Junction, Iowa (April 13, 2025) – The 2025 Racing season is set to get underway at the CJ Speedway located on the Louisa County Fairgrounds in Columbus Junction on Friday, April 18th. The season opener will be hosted by our friends at Sinclair Tractor of Muscatine.
Second year track Manager Dan Keltner has put together a great schedule that will see special events including the return of the Sprint Invaders on May2nd and the Super Late Models of the SLMR Series will be in Columbus Junction for the Tony Stewart Tribute race on May 30th. The Larry Richardson Memorial, honoring long time CJ Speedway race promoter will be held during the Louisa County Fair on Thursday, July 24th.
Weekly Friday night racing will include four classes of cars racing under the IMCA sanction. Modifieds will headline the program and they will be joined by the Stock Cars, Sportmods and Hobby Stocks.
Friday night the grandstand gates will swing open at 6 pm with hot laps slated to take the green flag at 7 pm with racing to follow.
