Darren Shaw Reigns Supreme on Trenton Coca-Cola Night at the Races I-35 Speedway!

Winston, Mo (August 22, 2015) – E-Modifieds charged to the near perfect three-eighths mile of dirt at I-35 Speedway setting the stage for a night of great racing action. Anthony Asher #20xa would jump to the early lead appearing to be the car to beat, until a late race pass with one lap to go by John Brown #36j. Brown would lead the last two circuits and claim the night’s feature win. Asher would slip to finish second with Corey Myers #15 finishing a close third. Colby Kearney #89k would again notch a solid run placing fourth with rookie of the year contender Jacob Blair #81 rounding out the feature’s top five. Heat race winners were John Brown, Anthony Asher, and Colby Kearney.

Next to the track were the always entertaining Hobby Stocks with Greg Gilbert #23g leading every lap on his way to McCarthy Auto Group Winners Circle. Mich Ross #34 would search the track high and low unable to find a way around Gilbert and would have to settle for placing second. Heat race winner Carson Masoner #13x would hold off brother Conner Masoner #47x as they would finish third and fourth respectively. Jason Estes #34e, in a barrowed car, would race his way to a solid fifth.

Grand Nationals would see two of the best on the track battle from green to checkers. Heat race winner Donnie Brown #26 would set the pace early and slip one time on the exit of turn four allowing Buz Kaster #54 to capitalize and claim the win. Brown would finish second with Houston Johnson #97 third. Bud Wilson #75 would finish the night fourth with Bobby Lopez #1L fifth.

Back to the track in fine form the Non-Wing Sprint Cars would put on a great display of driving talent. Heat race winner Wyatt Burks #11w would battle other heat race winner Cody Baker #38 back and forth for the lead several laps. Burks, living up to his nickname, would fly by Baker on the high side to claim the lead and never look back on his way to the victory. Chris Parkinson #65 would charge to the front to challenege Burks to no avail and place second. Early leader Cody Baker would fade late to place third with sister Casey Baker #9 fourth. Big mover of the race was Mitchell Moore #51 who would recover from an early race mishap to finish fifth.

USRA B-Modifieds would tame the track as Doug Keller #77 would make it two feature wins in a row at I-35 Speedway capturing the checkers. Ronnie Miller #76 and Tony Manley #24w would swap positions several times with Miller second edging Manley at the line, who placed third. Current point leader Tim Eaton #211 would finish fourth with Gene Claxton #42 fifth. Heat race winners included Doug Keller, Ronnie Miller, Tony Manley, and Gene Claxton.

Midwest Lightning Sprints were back in action at I-35 Speedway with Mark Billings #60e standing tall in victory lane. Billings would lead every lap holding off the late race challenege of heat race winner Tom Brown #b20. Brown would place second with other heat race winner Paden Moreland #19 third. Rick Baxter #12b would place fourth with Jason Billups #49 ending the night fifth.
USRA Stock Cars as always entertained the capacity crowd with side by side racing throughout the pack. Heat race winner Dean Wray #77 continues his hot streak while padding his point lead as he would see the checkers first. Big mover of the feature was Jon Boller Jr #20x as he would move through the field placing second. Other heat race winner Jeff Dixon #88 and Billie Hoover #21h would race side by side and never touch with Dixon placing third and Hoover fourth. Thomas Roberts #65x would be in contention the entire race fading late to finish fifth.

USRA Modifieds would witness Darren Shaw #11 use the high line to perfection as he would win the feature and stand tall in McCarthy Auto Group Winner’s Circle. Shaw and heat race winner Dennis Elliott #29, as many times before, would race side by side each giving the other racing room for great racing entertainment. Elliott would end the night second as other heat race winner Daniel Hilsabeck #22d would race his way to a solid third. Zach Sanders #69 and Ryan Schaffer #R21 would battle wheel to wheel to the checkers with Sanders placing fourth and Schaffer fifth.
