DAVENPORT, Ia. (August 15, 2012) – The final Kid’s Night of the 2012 season will be on Friday, August 17th.

Back to School Kid’s Night this Friday at Davenport Speedway

DAVENPORT, Ia. (August 15, 2012) – The final Kid’s Night of the 2012 season will be on Friday, August 17th. Kids 12 and under receive free admission with a paid adult.

Back to School Kids Night is sponsored by Dirt Racer Magazine and Chris Damitz Photography. Kids will want to bring their bikes and helmets (mandatory) for bike races around the 1/4 mile.

Next Friday, August 24th, will bring the 2012 Season Championships to the Davenport Speedway. On that evening, track champions will be crowned in all four weekly classes.

Post-season racing action at the Davenport Speedway begins on Sept. 7th, when the Brockway Mechanical & Roofing Sprint Invaders come to town. The following Friday, Sept. 14th, is the Night of Destruction, featuring Davenport’s first-ever “Trailer Race”. The final race at the Davenport Speedway this year, will be the All-Star Classic, on September 22nd. That event is highlighted by the 2012 Deery Brothers Summer Series finale.
