Davenport Speedway Season Opener is Friday!

Davenport, Ia. (April 8, 2025) – Practice time is over and it is time for the wheel deal!  Davenport Speedway is ready for the green flag at the Koehler Electric Season Opener this Friday, April 11th.

This is the second season for promoter Jeff Struck and SR Promotions at Davenport Speedway. The racetrack located at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds was first used in 1920, making it one of the oldest sports facilities in the Quad City area.

Six stock car classes will battle on opening night: IMCA Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sport Mods, Outlaw Street Stocks, IMCA Hobby Stocks, and 4 – Cylinders.

All racers are required to have working Raceceiver and Westhold transponder. To rent a transponder on race nights, inquire at the pit shack. All drivers are required to register and draw before entering the pit area.

General admission prices for Friday night will be $15 for adults and children ages 5-12 are $5. Kids 4 and under are free. Pit passes are $30 and kids (10 & under) $15. The pit gate opens at 3:30pm, and hotlaps at 6:30pm.
