DAVEY HESKIN & JOSH SCHNEIDERMAN HEADLINE SATURDAY AFTERNOON’S “SPRINT CAR 101” AT THE NATIONAL SPRINT CAR MUSEUM
KNOXVILLE, IOWA (May 19, 2016) – Davey Heskin of St. Michael, Minnesota, and Josh Schneiderman of West Burlington, Iowa, will headline this Saturday afternoon’s “Sprint Car 101” at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum. The program will be held on the second floor of the museum from 2 until 3 p.m. this Saturday, May 21. That night will be the National Sprint League’s first visit to the ‘Sprint Car Capital of the World’ this season. Veteran journalist Bill Wright will spend the hour interviewing both Knoxville Raceway regulars.
Museum curator Tom Schmeh said today, “In May, June and July, we will try hosting the once-a-month Sprint Car 101 forums on Saturday afternoons, which means that admission to the museum will be necessary. However, since our admission is still only four dollars per adult and three dollars for students and senior citizens, I don’t see that as being a problem. In fact, museum members get free admission for two people for the entire year, so this will be ‘added value’ for their $25 annual supporting membership. We sincerely thank Bill Wright, Davey Heskin and Josh Schneiderman for taking time out of their busy race day to help us with this month’s program.”
