Fan Appreciation Night at 34 Raceway June 23

BURLINGTON, IA (June 18, 2012) – A much needed rain drenched the area last Saturday forcing cancellation of the night’s racing action at 34 Raceway .

The Fan Appreciation Night $5.00 special has been moved to this week, Saturday, June 23 on Mike’s Auto Parts and Roberts Tire Center Fan Appreciation Night.  Bring your Burlington Steamboat Days Weeks Ground Pass Tickets and get admitted FREE to the grandstands. Have your ticket stamped at the main grandstand ticket office to receive Free Admission.

There will be racing in six classes including the IMCA Late Models, Coors Silver Bullet IMCA Modifieds, W.T. Gabeline and Sons Trucking

305 Sprints, Mike’s Auto Parts IMCA Stock Cars, Pepsi Hobby Stocks and the I-Wireless/Louisa Communications 4 Cylinders.

The popular on track autograph session returns to 34 Raceway this Saturday. Fans will be permitted to go to the front stretch to meet and greet their favorite drivers. Autograph cards will be given free to get their autographs.

Through June 9 point leaders in each of the classes racing this week

include: Sprints-Donnie Steward, West Burlington; Late Models-Lonnie Bailey, Quincy, Il; Modifieds-Scott Hogan, Vinton; Stock Cars-Matt Greiner Washington; Hobby Stocks-Matt Gavin, Kirkwood, Il; 4 Cylinders- Nick Wilkerson, Morning Sun.

The IMCA Stock Cars will be racing for an increased payout to win this week. $525 to win the IMCA Stock Car feature courtesy Mike’s Auto Parts . The stock cars will run under a draw/redraw program this week.
