FRIDAY IS ‘DRAWING DAY’ FOR EAGLE/OTT SPRINT CAR #9 RAFFLE
KNOXVILLE, IOWA (December 17, 2012) – This Friday, December 21, is ‘drawing day’ for the National Sprint Car Museum-benefit Eagle/Ott sprint car #9 raffle, with ticket sales ending at 10 a.m. and the actual grand prize drawing to be held at 11 a.m. Central.
Museum special events coordinator David Herrmann said today, “We are pleased that museum board member Steve Van Wyk of nearby Pella will be coming over to the museum to draw the winning ticket for this, our ninth, sprint car raffle. Videographer Kris Krohn will be taping the drawing and it will be available on our www.sprintcarhof.com web site later in the day on Friday. We will immediately call the grand prize winner on the phone, as well as issue a press release on the results of the eight total prize drawings. The press release will also be posted on our web site, our Facebook page and our Twitter account page. I personally want to thank chassis builder Bill Mann, engine builder Don Ott, all of the product manufacturers and prize donors, and all of the ticket buyers for helping make this 18-month raffle a real success.”
Tickets can be purchased at the non-profit museum in Iowa or by calling the museum at 1-800-874-4488. Tickets are just twenty dollars each, or six tickets are available for one hundred dollars. Those seeking more information on the museum-benefit raffle car can visit the www.sprintcarhof.com web site.
