Hershel Roberts Memorial, Sunday, May 4th

EAST MOLINE, IL (May 1, 2014) – This Sunday, May 4th, will be the Hershel Roberts Memorial featuring the $3,000 to win IMCA Late Model Deery Brothers Summer Series. Also racing will be the Toppert Services IMCA Modifieds, Weber Auto Group Street Stocks, and U-Pull-A-Part/Cimco IMRA Midget Lites. Rain date will be Sunday, May 11th.

The Quad City Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Grand Opening / Ribbon Cutting ceremony at 4:30pm in the infield. Mike Coughlin from the chamber will be speaking. All of our advertising partners, fans, drivers, and crew members are invited.

There will be a girl’s and a boy’s bike given away thanks to Roberts Motorsports. Also, Roberts Motorsports will be giving away window decals to the first 300 fans through the grandstands this Sunday.

Travis Denning, driver of the 56D IMCA Late Model, will have free koozies for the first 56 fans through the grandstands. Plus we’ll have 56D window decals, autograph cards, and t-shirts to giveaway throughout the night.

Todd Malmstrom, driver of the 75M IMCA Late Model, will have flags and autograph cards for the kids in the grandstands just before hot laps at about 4:30pm. We will have 75M gear to give away throughout the night.

Redline Wraps / Quad City Custom Signs will have koozies and decals to give away throughout the night.

Admission prices will be $15 for adults, $8 for kids 6 to 12, and free for kids 5 & under. Pit passes will be $30. Pits will open at 3pm with the grandstands opening at 3:30pm. Hot laps will be at 5:15pm with racing to follow.
