Jerovetz Motorsports Shock Service awards new for IMCA Modified, Northern SportMod specials

| January 19, 2014

SUAMICO, Wis. (Jan. 19) – A company with a rapidly expanding customer list in the Badger State becomes a new contingency award sponsor with IMCA in 2014.

Jerovetz Motorsports Shock Service, owned by cousins and veteran drivers Sean and Troy Jerovetz, gives gift certificates good toward two free shock rebuilds to top five finishers at 30 IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modified and 15 Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod specials this season.

Both Sean and Troy race Modifieds. Their business got its start three years ago, then expanded in their Suamico shop. JMSS now retails Afco, Bilstein, Integra, QA1, Penske and JRI shocks, repairs and services shocks of all makes and consults on shock packages for high performance use.

“We more or less started to do our own stuff to save money. As we went on, we had more people inquiring if we could do their shocks, too,” Troy explained. “We did that part-time for two years and then made a business out of it a year ago.”

They knocked a wall out of the shop last winter to accommodate the expansion.

“We do everything from Hobby Stocks to Late Models. We specialize more in the Modifieds and Northern SportMods because that’s what we’re most familiar with,” said Troy. “Business has been really good. Our customers had 140 feature wins and 14 track championships, and Matt Looft was the Northern SportMod national champion. We want to improve on the feature win and track championship numbers every season.”

More information about shocks and shock services available from JMSS is available by calling 920 680-7317 or 920 265-2068, and at the www.jmshocks.com website.

Certificates will be mailed from the IMCA home office the week after official results are received.

“When Sean and Troy approached us exploring partnership ideas, I felt it was a great fit. They have both been excellent racers for a long time and brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to this business venture,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder said. “We’re pleased to partner with them as they embark on this new endeavor.”
