BEATRICE, Neb. (March 4) – Jet Racing’s 16th season of IMCA sponsorship is also its second as title sponsor of the Central Region for Modifieds.

The Beatrice, Neb., chassis builder again provides a portion of the $6,000 point fund to be paid out to top 10 drivers in point standings for the region, which includes sanctioned tracks in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma and eastern Colorado.

The champion earns $2,500, with $1,250 for second, $625 for third, $325 for fourth, $300 for fifth and $200 for sixth through 10th. Drivers are required to display two Jet Racing decals on their race car to be eligible for point fund shares.

Originally a title sponsor of Northern Regions for Stock Cars and Hobby Stocks, Jet gave special events contingencies prior to 2012.

Owned by four-time national and five-time regional champion Johnny Saathoff, Jet Racing began building Modifieds in 1995 and later expanded its chassis line to include Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks and SportMods. Jesse Sobbing won the 2012 Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod national crown in a Jet-built ride.

The company also retails high performance parts and automotive accessories. More information about Jet-manufactured chassis and retail parts and accessories is available by calling 402 228-1596 and at the www.jetracinginc.com website.

“Jet Racing returns as the title sponsor of our Central Region in a partnership that was successful last season,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder said. “Jet Mods have gotten off to a very strong start in 2013 and I look for them to remain in the hunt for our national title all the way through September.”
