Koehler Electric Season Opener this Friday at Davenport Speedway

DAVENPORT, Ia. (April 25, 2012) –  The chase for the 2012 track championships at the Davenport Speedway, begins this Friday, April 27th.

The four weekly classes this season will be the same as 2011: IMCA Late Model, Street Stock, IMCA Modified, and 4 Stocks.

Defending track champions at the Davenport Speedway are:

Petersen Plumbing & Heating IMCA Late Models… Ray Guss Jr.,  Milan, Ill.

Koehler Electric Street Stocks ………………………….… Jeremy Marquette, Davenport, Ia.

EMS IMCA Modifieds ………………………………….……… Bob Dominacki, Bettendorf, Ia.

Roto-Rooter 4 Stocks ………………………………………………… Wade  Dahl, Blue Grass, Ia.

Weekly racing action continues next Friday, May 4th. The evening will be highlighted by powder puff races for the ladies.

The Davenport Speedway is located at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds, on West Locust Street, in Davenport. Pit gates at The Davenport Speedway open at 4 p.m. Hot laps are at 6:30pm and racing starts at 7pm.
