WAR Sprints Coming To Lebanon Midway Sept. 8th

LEBANON, MO (Aug 28, 2012) – Sprint Cars are heading to the Midway Speedway in Lebanon on Saturday Sept. 8th as old style racing comes to the Ozarks in the form of Wingless Sprint Cars as the WAR Series heads to the Midway.

   The WAR Series ( Wingless Auto Racing) makes their first visit to the track. Wingless Sprint Cars bring alot back to the driver in these type of cars and fans at Midway should be able to view those drivers work the wheel of their cars while charging to the front of the pack.

  Current WAR Series Austin Alumbaugh of Higginsville and top runner Mitchell Moore of Edgerton, Kansas will lead a tough field of drivers as it has been over 2 or more seasons since Sprint Carshave been in action at Midway.

 The WAR Sprints will be in action on Friday Night September 7th at Valley Speedway in Grain Valley, Missouri and with back to back events should produce a strong field of cars from the regulars and new comers.

  Action will also feature the championship chase in other classes as those will be named later.
