Lincoln County hosts June 12 IMCA Run For The Money special
NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (June 7) – Lincoln County Raceway hosts its seventh annual Run For The Money special, with five sanctioned divisions on the Tuesday, June 12 program.
Top prize for the IMCA Modifieds is $600. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods both run for $550 to win and the IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks chase a $325 top check.
Mach-1 Sport Compacts are new to the midweek card and vie for $150 to win.
NebraskaLand National Bank adds $1,000 to the Modified, Stock and Hobby winners’ shares and the purse has been upped for SportMods.
IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional, Allstar Performance State and local track points will be awarded.
Non-qualifier money is $75 for Modifieds, $50 for the Stocks and SportMods, $40 for Hobbies and $25 for Sport Compacts. Entry fee for drivers who have not competed previously at Lincoln County this season is $45.
Pit gates at North Platte open at 4 p.m., the grandstand opens at 5 p.m., hot laps are at 6 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m.
Grandstand ad¬mission is $12 for adults and $6 for kids, with five and under admitted free. Pit passes are $25.
