MACON SPEEDWAY RETURNS TO ACTION THIS SATURDAY NIGHT WITH FLAG NIGHT!
(MMACON, IL (May 16, 2012) – Join us this Saturday night at Macon Speedway, and watch as all six UMP divisions will take to the track to try to pick up some track points in their hunt to be track champion. Also Macon Speedway. Flag night will be the theme for this Saturday night as the first 200 fans into the main gate will receive a free flag to wave to help cheer on the local dirt track heroes.
Joining the UMP Late Models will be the Billingsley Towing Modifieds, Sportsman, Street Stocks, Amatuer & Pro Hornets. Kyle Logue (Cisco, Il) Leads the Late Model points, Jeremy Nichols (Decatur, Il) sits on top of the Billingsley Modifieds with Rick Roedel (Shelbyville, Il) in Sportsman, Larry Russell jr.(Harristown, Il) in the Street Stocks, Derek Peters (Pana, Il) in Amatuer Hornets and Jeremy Reed (Decatur, Il) in the Pro Hornets all leading their respective divisions. Macon Speedway hosts some of the best racing in the Midwest each and every Saturday night, so come out to the track and check out what everyone has been talking about. Macon Speedway’s exciting summer schedule includes next week’s Memorial Day Specials featuring the “Raminator” Monster Truck for Scout Night Boys & Girls on Saturday May 26th. A pinewood derby will take place at 1:pm in the fan fest area in front of the racetrack that is free to the public. Then back to Macon on Monday May 28th for Bully Dog Night of NASCAR Stars which includes Ken Schrader, Kenny Wallace. The UMP Super Late Models will be on tap to cap a fun filled Memorial Day holiday for another spectacular week at the super-fast 1/5 mile. Coming up June 2nd is Caterpillar Employee Night as we host a big party for all the Cat Employees. 2011 NASCAR Champion Tony Stewart will be the Grand Marshall for the second Night of NASCAR Stars at Macon Speedway on June 12. |
