Midway Racing Action Features Pure Stock Extra Money And Autograph Session

LEBANON, MO (Sept 18, 2012) – Lebanon Midway Spedway will be back in racing action Saturday Night September 22nd with only 2 points races left on the schedule and special events upcoming to help finish out the season in October.

  This Saturday night will feature a special paying race for the Pure Stock class while awarding bonus points to all who compete in this class. Pure Stocks will draw for heats and finishes determine the starting line-up. Regular point races will apply for the Factory Stocks, B Modifieds, Midwest Modifieds,and Street Stocks.

  A Chance for the fans to meet and greet the drivers will happen at intermission as the final on track autograph will allow the fans to go on the track and get up close with the cars competing.

  Currently Tim Petty (Factory Stocks), Ted Ballinger ( B Modifieds),Mark Simon(Street Stocks),Sam Petty(Midwest Modifieds), and Rob White(Pure Stocks),lead the point standings as many different drivers are moving in the standings and this Saturday will help prepare them for the season championship next weekend.

  The remaining Midway schedule will see the Season Championships next Saturday September 29th, while Saturday October 6th will feature a special event featuring the DLRA Late Model Series compete along with support classes and the always popular Coca-Cola Fall Brawl on October 12th and 13th as this season the WAR (Non-Wing) Sprint Cars are scheduled to compete for the 2 day event.

  Racing action will begin at 7:30 with the Grandstand gates opening at 5PM this Saturday night.
