Midway To Hold $500 To Win B-Mod Event Saturday With Full Points Race In Other Classes

LEBANON, MO (May 21, 2012) – Racing action will get back underway Saturday Night at the Midway Speedway with a special $500 to win feature event along with added money for second and third place.

The B-Modifieds have yet to have a repeat winner in the regular points action this season and with extra money up for grabs should keep things interesting.

The Modifieds will get a lap of qualifying against the Speedway clock to set-up the qualifying heat races.How the drivers finish in the heats will determine their starting spots.This event will also give bonus points for the drivers that compete in the B-Modified class.

The racing program will also feature Factory Stocks,Pure Stocks,Midwest Modifieds, and Street Stocks as racing action will get underway at 7:30 with the gates opening at 5PM.Practice begins at 6:40

Several different drivers in all classes have joined the winners circle so far this season and the current point standings show the close racing action.

Current point leaders included Brian Schutt(Factory Stocks),Ted Ballinger(B-Modifieds),Rob White(Pure Stocks),Sam Petty(Midwest Modifieds) and Mark Simon(Street Stocks) as last week 3 new winners took their first points features out of the 5 feature events.DeWayne Hobbs(B-Modifieds),Joe Francis(Street Stocks) and rookie Billy Pearce(Midwest Modifieds).

Grandstand admission is only $10 for Adults while pit passes are $25.
