Musco Lighting Fall Challenge This Week At Southern Iowa Speedway
Oskaloosa, Iowa: The Musco Lighting Fall Challenge will be contested Friday & Saturday, September 20 & 21 on the Mahaska County Monster ½ mile dirt track located on the Mahaska County Fairgrounds in Oskaloosa. A full racing program will be contested each night with a greatly expanded purse on the line thanks to a great group of sponsors. The racing will feature the five classes that were in contention throughout the 2019 racing season. Mid State Machine Stock Cars, Oskaloosa Quality Rental Sportmods, Parker Tree Service Hobby Stocks and Auto Crafters Sport Compacts will all be featured, also joining the racing program will be the Wingless Sprint Cars.
Both Friday and Saturday nights the on track action will get underway at 7 pm with warmups and racing is slated to follow at 7:30 pm.
The Southern Iowa Fairboard and Race Committee will be holding the line with the best deal in all of racing with admission each night for this special event being the same as all weekly racing events in 2019. Adult admissions 16 & over will be only $8, Military and Vets will be admitted for $5, ages 6-15 will be $3 and five and under will be FREE.
Friday night the top ten in season point standings will be honored during intermission. Following Friday’s racing program, a race party will be held in the Varied Industries Building on the Mahaska County Fairgrounds.
The Musco Lighting Fall Challenge will bring the 2019 racing season to a close in Oskaloosa, the Race Committee and Southern Iowa Fairboard would like to extend a great big Thank You to all who supported the Southern Iowa Speedway throughout the season.
