NASCAR Star Kenny Wallace to Race atQuincyRaceways on April 29
QUINCY, ILL (April 28, 2012) – A fan favorite NASCAR star Kenny Wallace will be racing his UMP Modified at Quincy Raceways on Sunday April 29. Wallace will be battling the local stars to try and take the laurels back toNorth Carolinaduring the John Wood Community College Night at the Races. Wallace will be available after the events activities are concluded to meet race fans in the Quincy Raceways pit area.
Wallace is known for his wild and wacky antics off track as well as his longevity on the track. He appears weekly on Speed’s NASCAR race coverage on TV and race’s his UMP Modified as much as possible throughout the United States. Kenny has been a frequent visitor to the “Broadway Bullring” over the years as he spent several years helping his brother Mike in the pit area during the NASCAR Winston Racing Series wars during the 1980’s.
The pit gates open at 2:30, Grandstands at 4, Driver Registration ends at 4:30, Driver’s Meeting at 4:30, Hot Laps at 4:45 and Racing Action at 5:30pm. Adults are $10, Seniors $7, Students (11-15) $5 and Kids 10 and Under are Free.
