Southern Iowa Speedway Set To Race, Adds Makeup Date
Oskaloosa, Iowa: The Musco Lighting Southern Iowa Speedway located on the Mahaska County Fairgrounds in Oskaloosa will make another attempt in getting a night of racing in on Wednesday, May 15th. The 2019 season has been marred by 4 rain outs in the first five weeks of scheduled race events. May 15th will be Mahaska and Kool Seamless Gutters Kids night with all kids in attendance at 6:45 being offered rides in their favorite drivers race cars. The kids will be invited to take part in a candy dash during intermission. Grandstand gates open at 5:30 pm with hot laps at 7 with racing to follow.
The race committee has added Wednesday, June 12th as a makeup race date. The Memorial race night promotion will be held sponsored by Copeland Auto Body and SS Mobile Blasting.
