XSAN Hawkeye Dirt Tour has June 19 date at Lee County
DONNELLSON, Iowa (June 16) – Touring IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds see Thursday night action at Lee County Speedway.
The XSAN Hawkeye Dirt Tour travels to Donnellson for a June 19 show that pays $1,000 to win and a minimum of $150 to start.
IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Belleville Motorsports North Central Region, Allstar Performance State and special series points will be awarded for the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier.
Pit gates open at 5 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5:30 p.m. Hot laps are at 6:45 p.m. and racing gets underway at 7:30 p.m.
Spectator admission is $15 for adults, $7 for kids and free for children 10 and under when accompanying a paying adult. Pit passes are $30.
Completing the program are IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods, Mach-1 Sport Compacts and the Sprint Invaders.
All applicable points, including track, will be awarded to the Stocks, Northern SportMods and Sport Compacts.

Tim Ward of Gilbert, Ariz., was the winner when the series opened on Memorial Day at I-35 Speedway in Mason City.
Thursday’s show marks the fourth Hawkeye Dirt Tour visit to Lee County.
Previous winners there were Josh Foster of Newton in 2010, Michael Long of Quincy, Ill., in 2011 and Steve Stewart of Burlington last June 20.
