22nd Spring Nationals slated March 13-14 at Beatrice Speedway
BEATRICE, Neb. (March 3) – Checks for $2,000 and berths on the 2015 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot are at stake when IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds headline the Friday and Saturday, March 13-14 Spring Nationals at Beatrice Speedway.
Both features pay a minimum of $200 to start. Tow money is $75 each night.
IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods both race for $500 to win and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $400 to win each night. Mach-1 Sport Compacts run for $200 to win on Saturday.
IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional and Allstar Performance State points will be given each night for the Modifieds, Stock Cars and Hobby Stocks. National and state points will be awarded to Northern SportMod and Sport Compact competitors.
RACEceivers are required in all divisions.
Pit gates open at 4:30 p.m. Friday, with hot laps at 6 p.m. and racing at 7 p.m. On Saturday, gates open at 2:30 p.m., hot laps are at 5 p.m. and racing is at 6 p.m. Pit passes are $25 each night. Grandstand admission is $14 for adults and $5 for kids 10 and under.
Entry fees for the Modifieds are now $175. Stock Cars and SportMods pay $60 a night, Hobby Stocks $20 per night and Sport Compacts is $20.
An open practice session for all divisions is from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, March 12. Pit passes are $10. Both Spring Nationals programs will be broadcast live on Speed Shift TV.
