305 Sprints & UMP Modifieds Headline Knox County Fair (Knoxville, IL) Wednesday, July 31st
KNOXVILLE, IL (July 27, 2013) – The annual Knox County Fair returns to the ½ mile dirt oval in Knoxville, IL, this Wednesday, July 21st. The 2013 event will feature the 305 Sprints for $750 to win, sanctioned UMP Modifieds for $750 to win, STARS Regional Mod Lites for $500 to win, Outlaw 4-Cylinders (run what you brung) for $300 to win, and the Mississippi Valley Vintage Racing Association will be in action. No entry fees to race, just pit passes.
The sanctioned UMP Modifieds will be running for UMP National and Regional (Illinois West) points. They will also qualify through a one lap time trial.
Pits will open at 4:00pm, grandstands at 5:00pm, hot laps at 6:45pm, with racing at 7:15pm. Adult grandstand admission is $12 with students ages 6 to 16 $8. Pit passes will be $30.
