“4th Annual Fall Extravaganza” Will Bring the Lee County Speedway Back Into Action

Donnellson, IA (Monday, September 8, 2015) – The Lee County Speedway in Donnellson, IA is set to get back into action with the “4th Annual Fall Extravaganza” on Friday, October 9th and Saturday, October 10th. Armstrong Tractors, Budweiser, Donnellson Tire and Service, and Midwest Performance and Power are helping to present the action in the Modifieds, Stock Cars, SportMods, Hobby Stocks and Sport Compacts both nights.
The “4th Annual Fall Extravaganza” at the Lee County Speedway will be headlined by a $1,000 to win feature for Modifieds on both Friday and Saturday nights.
Also in action on both nights will be the Stock Cars and SportMods running for $1,000 to win each night, Hobby Stocks for $500 to win both nights and Sport Compacts for $300 to win each night.
Entry fees per night are $50 for Modifieds, $40 for Stock Cars and SportMods, $30 for Hobby Stocks, and $25 for Sport Compacts. Each night will be a complete program, with a draw / redraw format used on both nights.
The following rules will be used for the “4th Annual Fall Extravaganza” weekend: All IMCA rules apply for the Modifeds except American Racer or Hoosier G60 tires may be used, with grooving allowed only on the front. Aluminum headed motors (non-crate) must add 50 lbs. of lead on the front by the motor. Roller motors and stud girdles are legal. Quick Change rear ends are legal. Rear suspension must be IMCA legal. Front tubular okay. Fuel pump on transmission is legal. 7800 RPM chip must be ran with all open motors. No rear spoiler, unless running a 604 Crate per IMCA rules. Stock Cars will also run under all IMCA rules, with the exception of American Racer or Hoosier G60 tires may be used, with grooving allowed only on the front. Plus aftermarket blocks are okay to use in the Stock Cars. SportMods will follow IMCA or USRA rules, with the exception of American Racer or Hoosier G60 tires may be used, with grooving allowed only on the front. Hobby Stocks will use all IMCA rules, with the exception that a floater rear end being legal. Sport Compacts will follow all IMCA rules.
Pit passes both nights will be $30, ages (7-13) $20, and ages 6 & under $10. A two day pit pass will be available on Friday for $55. Grandstand admission each night will be adults $15, students (11-17) $7, and kids 10 & under FREE!
Pit gates on Friday will open at 5:00 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5:30 p.m. Hot laps are set for 7:00 p.m. and racing starts at 7:30 p.m. Then on Saturday night the pit gates will open at 4:00 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 4:30 p.m. Hot laps will begin at 6:00 p.m. and racing kicks off at 6:30 p.m.
