Robbie Reed #5 Modified Wins Winners Circle Awards Night at I-35 Speedway

Winston, MO  (OCT 3, 2015) – E-Modified would charge to the fast, smooth three eights mile of dirt known as I-35 Speedway and set the pace for the night of great racing action. Heat race winner Austin Bouzek #14 would take the lead early as the racing raged behind the leader. Bouzek would see his lead disappear as Corey Myers #15 would charge past on the outside and claim the lead until a broken left front a arm would break taking him from the race and win contention. As the green would fly again on the track Bouzek would again take the lead, this time hold on for the remainder of the feature and on to the win.  Other heat race winner John Brown #36J would challenge late only to fall short and finish second.  Other heat race winner Daniel Harris #319 would have yet another solid run placing third with Jon Boller Jr #20x fourth.  Rookie of the year contender Jacob Blair #81 would finish a consistent fifth.

Hobby Stocks would see the familiar face of Mich Ross #34 in victory lane as he would charge to the front in the early laps and on to the win.  The two heat race winners, Conner Masoner #47x and Carson Masoner #13x would battle to the checkers with Conner placing second and Carson third.  Anthony Persell #87 and Cassidy Buckingham #9x would battle side by side throughout the feature with Persell fourth and Buckingham fifth. 

Grand Nationals would witness Buz Kaster #54 win both heat race and feature on this night of great racing action.  Kaster would be challenged early by second place finisher Donnie Brown #26 and third place finisher Marty Powell #9p.  B.B.  Tex #97bb would race his way to place fourth with Bobby Lopez #1L fifth.

USRA B-Modifieds would again be in fine form as heat race winner Bud Wilson #77x would celebrate in McCarthy Auto Group Winner’s Circle.  Wilson would pass one time leader Randy Ainsworth #57 on the high side moving Ainsworth to place second.  Steve Starmer #11s would hold off the hard charge of Tim Eaton #211 to place third with Eaton fourth.  Nic Hanes #75 would again show poise and patience notching a top five finish.  Other heat race winner Jim Cameron #96c would develop mechanical problems forcing him from the field.

USRA Stock Cars would play the record over again as Dean Wray #77 would pick up his ninth feature win in a row at I-35 Speedway.  Wray would win his heat race and hold other heat race winner Thomas Roberts #65x at bay leaving Roberts to place second.  Jon Boller Jr #20x would search high and low to no avail finishing third with Alvie Christofferson #22a fourth.  Billie Hoover #21h was among the leaders the entire feature only to fade late to place fifth. 

USRA Modifieds would not disappoint and end the night on a high note.  The two heat race winners would battle to the checkers with Robbie Reed #5 in victory lane for win number two at I-35 Speedway this 2015 racing season.  Darren Shaw #11 would recover from an early race mishap and charge back to the front and finish second passing third place finisher Tad Davis #75 at the line.  Ryan Schaffer #R21 would place fourth with Bud Wilson #97, subbing for Houston Johnson, rounding out the night’s top five.
