Spring Nationals IMCA Modified features pay $2,000 to win
BEATRICE, Neb. (March 7, 2016) – Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds race for $2,000 to win both nights of the Friday and Saturday, March 11 and 12 Spring Nationals at Beatrice Speedway.
Each feature pays a minimum of $200 to start and will be a qualifying event for the 2016 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot. Modified drivers are also guaranteed $75 a night in tow money.
IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars race for $500 to win and $100 to start each night while Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods vie for $500 to win and $75 to start. IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks chase a top prize of $400 with $75 paid to start each night.
Saturday’s Mach-1 Sport Compact feature pays $200 to win.
IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National and Allstar Performance State points will be awarded in all five divisions.
Jet Racing Central Region points will be awarded to Modifieds, EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region points to Stock Cars and Big Daddy Race Cars Northern Region points to Hobby Stocks.
Gates open at 4:30 p.m., hot laps are at 6 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m. on Friday. Pits open at 2:30 p.m., hot laps are at 5:30 p.m. and racing starts at 6 p.m. Saturday.
An open practice runs from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, March 10 for all divisions.
Pit passes are $10 on Thursday and $25 on Friday and Saturday. Grandstand admission on Friday and Saturday is $15 for adults and $5 for kids ages 10 and under.
