WAR to Make Second Appearance at Double X
CALIFORNIA, MO (June 6, 2012) – With four races now in the books for its inaugural season, Wingless Auto Racing will make a return to Double X Speedway in California, MO on Saturday June 8th.
In the first appearance on May 25th, long- time Double X winged competitor Lanny Carpenter picked up a popular win by holding off current point leader Austin Alumbaugh by a couple of car lengths in Jack Hockett’s #77.
Feature winners for WAR so far this season have been J.D. Black, Brady Bacon, Carpenter, and Josh Stephens.
Alumbaugh, Mitchell Moore, Jeff Wingate, Black, and Chris Morgan are the current top five in the points. Rounding out the top ten are John Helm, Kenny Potter, Frank Brown, Steven Cross, and Stephens.
Along with WAR, Double X will also present a full show of winged 360 sprints, street stocks, and hobby stocks. Grandstand admission will be $12 and a pit pass will be $25.
