Mathas Farms adds to Friday purse at Hancock County Speedway

BRITT, Iowa (June 14, 2012) – A $2,000 payday is possible for the winner of the IMCA Modified feature this Friday, June 15 at Hancock County Speedway.

Mathas Farms of Garner has added to purses for all four sanctioned divisions. First place could be worth $1,000 for the IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, $750 for the Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods and $600 for the IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks.

Any feature winner who hasn’t raced at Britt yet this season would receive the regular weekly check plus half the amount from Mathas.

Extra money has been added for eligible drivers finishing second or third in each feature: $900 and $600 for Modifieds, $550 and $350 for Stock Cars, $350 and $225 for Northern SportMods and $325 and $200 for Hobby Stocks.

All applicable points, including IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional, Allstar Performance State and local track points, will be awarded for the draw/redraw show.

Pit gates open at 5 p.m., the grandstand opens at 5:30 p.m. and hot laps are at 7 p.m. with racing to follow.

Spectator admission is $12 for adults, $5 for kids ages 6-12 and free for five and under. Pit passes are $25.
