MOWA 410 Winged Sprints Set For Lincoln Speedway Friday Night Lincoln Courier Night To Feature 5 Divisions Of Racing
(Lincoln, IL) A beautiful night should lead to some great racing this coming Friday night, July 12 on Lincoln Courier night at Lincoln Speedway, in Lincoln, IL. Headlining the five division program will be the fan favorite, Built Ford Tough MOWA Sprint Cars powered by Morrow Brother Ford.
The winged warriors of the MOWA Sprint Cars fly into town with Paul Nienhiser leading the standings. Nienhiser is always a thrill to watch at Lincoln Speedway, racing his way to the front in very fast fashion. Jeremy Standridge is second in the standings with Kyle Schuett, Cory Bruns, and Jacob Patton completing the top five. Also, in an exciting addition for fans, star open wheel driver, Rico Abreu will be racing his 410 sprint with MOWA.
Jake Little and Denny Woodworth lead the field of Pro Late Models for Friday night’s Midwest Big Ten Series Event. Little has claimed two wins in four events at the track, while Woodworth has claimed one win with four top fives. The two are tied at the top of the standings with 234 points each. Cody Maguire is third in points, while Roben Huffman and Brandon Eskew complete the top five. The Big Ten Series has only completed three of the ten events so far this year with Little the early favorite as well.
Flyin’ Brian Lynn is atop the DIRTcar Modified standings at Lincoln Speedway with five events in the books. Lynn has one win in the very competitive class. Tommy Sheppard, Jr. has been strong and is only six points behind. Austin Lynn, Ray Bollinger, and Mike Brooks complete the top five in the standings.
Andy Baugh, of Mason City, IL, has won four out of five features in the Nutech Seed DII Midget class and leads the standings by 54 points. Patrick Ryan is second, while Jeff Sparks, Mark McMahill, and Tyler Roth complete the top five.
Rounding out Friday’s action will be the KidModz.
Pit gates open Friday at 4:00, grandstands at 5:00, hotlaps begin at 6:00, and racing at 7:00 PM. Grandstand admission is $20 for adults and free for kids 11 and under.
