I-35 Speedway 2020 racing schedule
Now that we are off and racing the I-35 Speedway 2020 racing schedule has minor changes but super exciting announcements. June is packed full of fun starting with weekly racing this Saturday, June 6. The following week, June 13, the Midwest Wingless Racing Association non-wing sprint cars will join our weekly show. On June 20, the 2nd Annual Finish Strong Mike Tanner Memorial will be held, $1,500 to win the USRA A Modified feature. Finally, the month will close with the 9th Annual Racin’ for Rian, originally scheduled for July 4 now moved to June 27. Also Saturday, June 27, I-35 Speedway will honor the 2020 graduates during intermission with our Senior Salute.
July brings more racing fun! The two-day July 10 and July 11 schedule is now the Show Me Shootout Weekend Special culminating in the Show Me Stock Car Shootout on July 11. Friday, July 10 will feature the E Mods, Pure Stocks, Sport Compacts, and the Midwest Limited Late Models. The band “Dammit Jim” will be playing following the races on Friday, July 10. Practice sessions will be available for any Stock Cars who want to get in a few laps on Friday before the Show Me Stock Car Shootout on Saturday. Racing on Saturday will be the USRA A Mods, USRA B Mods, and culminating with the $3,000 to win, $2,000 for second, $1,000 for third sensational Show Me Stock Car 30 lap Shootout.
July 10 will also be a Central Auto Racing Boosters (C.A.R.B.) Night at the Races. Members of this great organization will get in free by displaying their membership card. Other special nights on the schedule include the Kaster Celebration (July 18), Asphalt Racers Reunion (July 25), Kids Night (August 1), the 5th Annual Smokin Trackside BBQ Bash (August 7 and 8).
