West Liberty Raceway to host two races in month of August
MAQUOKETA, Ia. (August 1, 2020) – As the 2020 racing season winds down, two big shows remain on the schedule for West Liberty Raceway. Both events feature late models on the big half-mile track.
DRT TRAK Racing brings Mid-Summer Madness III to the West Liberty Raceway on Saturday, August 8th. Racing on that evening will be Late Models, Modifieds, SportMods, Outlaw Street Stocks (Davenport Speedway rules), and the Nostalgic Stock Car Racing Club.
There is no entry fee for Mid-Summer Madness. The complete purse is available on “drttrakracing.com”.
On raceday, the pits open at 4pm. The grandstand at 5pm, hotlaps are at 6:30 with racing to follow.
Pit passes are $35. Grandstand admission for adults is $16, teens and seniors $14, children under 12 are free with paid adult.
Mid-Summer Madness will also be the chance for Late Models to dial in their cars before Malvern Bank Super Late Model Racing – Hoker Trucking East Series race on Saturday, August 22nd. The Hoker Trucking East Series race is the final 2020 racing event scheduled at West Liberty Raceway.
