Oskaloosa, Iowa: Racing action went on following a short rain delay on Wednesday night at the Southern Iowa Speedway on Hall of Fame Induction night presented by Copeland Auto Body and S &S Mobile Blasting.

The night started off with the Hall of Fame Inductions with 4 gentleman who are a very important part of the history of the Southern Iowa Speedway comprising the class of 2021. Being inducted posthumously were Keith Kropf of Ottumwa, Don Hoffman of Des Moines and John Moss of Iowa City. All were represented by family members. The fourth inductee into the new class is Bob (Gabby) Hayes of New Sharon who along with several family members accepted the great honor.

The Midstate Machine Stock Car feature was marred by an early race incident that sent three strong contenders to the pits with damaged cars. Donnie Pearson, Dustin Griffiths and Derrick Agee were all sidelined with various degrees of damage. Todd Reitzler led the race flag to flag in scoring the feature win ahead of Pat Rachels and Jason McDaniel.

Curtis VanDerwal took advantage of a front row start and went on to dominate the Oskaloosa Quality Rental Sportmod feature on the heavy rain soaked track. VanDerwal easily out ran the second place finisher Logan Anderson, Blaine Webster took the third place position.

Aaron Martin scored his second win of the year at SIS in the Parker Tree Service Hobby Stock division. Martin raced to the front from a sixth position start and took the top spot away from Jesse Williams. Martin went on to score the win ahead of Dustin Griffiths and Trevor Tanner.

Billy Cain topped the Dirt N Asphalt Sport Compact feature on Wednesday night. Cain took the lead from his outside front row starting spot and went on to hold off his teammate Clayton Webster in taking the 10 lap feature win. Webster pulled even with Cain coming to the checkers but Cain held on for a car length win. James Haring followed Webster across the line in third.

Justin Zimmerman was in town on Wednesday night with his non-wing sprinter all the way from Athens, Texas. Zimmerman was trying some new setups on his car in preparation for an upcoming tour, he found a setup he liked and drove to an impressive feature win in the 10 lap main event. Zimmerman took the win ahead of Ben Woods and Doug Sylvester.
