Bethany Speedway Presents Sprint Cars in Second Race of the Season
At this point Bethany Speedway was suppose to have at least four races already under its belt. But the weather has had a way of finding each scheduled race and dumping rain on all but one. That one saw two Sprint classes. One of those Sprint Car classes return for their second appearance of the season. The URSS (United Rebel Sprint Series) put on a great show in the first appearance with some great close racing. The first appearance had 15 drivers, there are more expected this time.
Also running will be the IMCA Modified and IMCA Stock Cars that didn’t run the first race. AND, just added, the Pure Stock class will also be racing.
This race, on July 24 starts a three week, back to back to back run of races at Bethany Speedway that includes our five regular classes with all our local and regular racers on July 31 and August 7.
Race number one saw one of the best racing surfaces Bethany Speedway has seen in many years. Providing fans with the best side by side racing, last lap passes for the win and more, new, first time winners.
If you’ve been waiting for the right time, now is it. Bethany Speedway has built back to good car counts, a great racing surface and the best door to door, bumper to bumper racing action. Races are usual over around 10:30 pm.
Sweet Baby B’s food truck on hand every week to provide some great eats, adult beverages on hand and more family fun than you can have anywhere else.
Promoters Jon and Beth Boller along with announcers Chet and Rick would like to invite everyone out for a night of exciting racing. And thank all our sponsors and supporters.
