I-35 Speedway, Winston Mo 08-13-2022

One hundred one (101) cars checked in for Seeburg Mufflers Smokin’ Trackside BBQ Bash night at I-35 Speedway. Fans were treated to some great three and four wide racing as the final checkered flag flew around 10:30 pm for the second week in a row.
The E-Mods were first to hit the racetrack tonight as Chris Dishong picked up his third feature win of the season at I-35 Speedway. Dishong would be challenged early on by second place finisher Aaron Jones. Points leader Casey Burnett would start deep in the field and race his way up to a third place finish, followed by Adam Dunwoodie and Blake Hayes.
In Pure Stock action, Jake Starmer picked up his third feature win of the season as he held off numerous challenges by second place finisher Dale Eaton. Conrad Kaufman won a side-by-side for third over points leader, Ava Dixon, with Tommy Luft in fifth.
Tommy Cordray picked up another win in the Midwest Limited Late Models leading all 15 laps. Cordray was challenged early on by Houston Johnson but ended up pulling away in the end. Johnson would finish second, followed by Ed Noll, Brad Dibben and Harold Robb Sr.
The overall USRA B-Mod points leader, Shadren Turner, would pick up his 21st USRA B-Mod feature win, 9th at I-35 Speedway. Second place finisher Tyler Cadwallader, the I-35 B-Mod points leader, would challenge Turner early but finish second. Corey Myers, Michael Taylor III, and Daniel Harris would have a great battle for third, fourth and fifth, with Myers fourth, Taylor fourth and Harris fifth.
The I-35 Speedway fans were treated to a first time feature winner in the USRA Stock Cars as Kristchon Hisel won a great battle over Doug Keller (second), Tim Eaton (third), points leader Nic Hanes (fourth) and Chester Kaufman (fifth).
Dakota Sproul, driving the 26S for Steven Glenn, would slip by Lee Hibner five laps into the 20-lap feature for his first win at I-35 Speedway. Lee Hibner would hold off current USRA Modifieds points leader Tyler Hibner for second. Tyler Hibner would hold off Tyler Grooms for third. Grooms would finish fourth, followed by Houston Johnson.
Isaiah Penton picked up his 10th Sport Compact feature win of the season and he would hold off the the guy he is battling with for the championship, current points leader Brad Mick. James Barr won a great side-by-side battle with Harold Rob Jr for third and Brad Alshire came in fifth.
