Sprint Cars at Montgomery Motorsports Park Speedway

NEW FLORENCE, MO (July 16, 2012) – Speedway Motors ASCS Warrior Region winged sprint cars and Gateway Vintage race cars will both invade the newly reconfigured high-banked 3/8’mile oval at Montgomery Motorsports Park Speedway in New Florence, MO.  The special Friday, July 20th event is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. hot laps and 8:30 racing. The MMPS Sprint Car Showdown will be a 25 lap feature event.

Kyle Bellm of Nixa, MO and Jonathan Cornell of Sedalia, MO will continue their battle for the season point lead on the18 degree high bank turns, measuring 75 feet wide and  60 foot wide straightaways.  MMPS is primed for the hottest racing action for the 700 horse powered sprint cars.

Montgomery Motorsports Park Speedway is located at the mile maker 175 on Interstate 70.

The 2012 season marks the 21st year of sanctioning Sprint Car racing for the American Sprint Car Series, which brings the best of Sprint Car racing to dozens of different tracks throughout the nation and into Canada. Anchored by the Lucas Oil Sprint Car Series, ASCS also consists of ten different Regions throughout the nation.
