305 Sprint Car will not run at Lee County Speedway, Friday, August 17

DONNELLSON, Iowa (August 15, 2012) – Do to an administrative issue, Lee County Speedway regrets to announce that the 305 Sprint Car portion of Friday’s racing activities at Lee County Speedway, have been cancelled. The remainder of the show will go on as scheduled for the 101.7 The Bull/Outdoor Power Emergency Services Night.

The five normal classes at LCS will still be in racing action, including the Budweiser IMCA Modifieds, Donnellson Tire IMCA Stock Cars, Shottenkirk Parts Express IMCA Sport Mods, Coors Light LCS Hobby Stocks and Sunline Auto Parts IMCA Sport Compacts.

Again the staff apologizes for the inconvenience, but look forward to seeing many of you at the races, Friday as we honor the domestic protectors of our area, including police officers, firefighters, paramedics and EMTs.

Grandstand admission Friday will be $9 for adults, $7 for seniors, $5 for students 11-17 and children 10 and under are free. Pit passes are $25. Gates open at 5:30 p.m., hot laps are 7 p.m. and racing at 7:30 p.m.
