Four IMCA divisions run at Algona’s Shryock Memorial
ALGONA, Iowa – Four IMCA divisions are on the card this Friday and Saturday, Sept. 14-15, for the Bob Shryock Memorial at Algona Raceway.
Both evening’s IMCA Modified, IMCA Sunoco Stock Car and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod features pay $1,000. IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks run for $500 to win.
Modified features are qualifying events for the 2013 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot and pay a minimum of $100 to qualify. Twenty-four cars will start each feature and IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional and Allstar Performance State points will be awarded.
Hot laps are at 7 p.m. with racing to follow on Friday. Hot laps start at 6:30 p.m. with racing to follow Saturday. Grandstand admission is $15. Pit passes are $30.
Parts and fuel will be available at the track.
