26^th Anniversary MUSCO Lighting Fall Challenge this weekend October 5^th & 6^th

OSKALOOSA, IA (October 3, 2012) – The final roar of the engines will take place at The Southern Iowa Speedway at the Southern Iowa Fairgrounds this weekend for the 26^th straight year of the Fall Challenge presented by local business MUSCO Lighting a Iowa based company. On Friday night October 5^th fans will be treated to qualifying night with drivers trying to earn a spot at the big money show on Saturday night October 6^th. On Friday night fans will see six classes in action with the Sport Compact, Hobby Stocks, Stock Cars, Sport Mods , A-Mods and the Iowa Sportsman Series. On Saturday night fans will see seven classes in action with the 1000cc mod-lites added to the card along with the same six classes from Friday’s program. The action will kick off on Friday night with hot laps at 6:45PM with racing action to follow. On Saturday night the hot laps will kickoff at 6PM and racing action will follow. We invite everyone out to see the final two shows of the 2012 season. A local supporter all year long has added some extra Benjamin’s to Saturday nights features from Edel Lawn Care of Oskaloosa has just added $100 to win making Modifieds from $1500 to$1600 to win, Stock Cars from $1200 to $1300 to win, Sport Mods from $1200 to $1300 to win, and Hobby Stocks from $1000 to $1100 to win. This is one of the richest purses in the Midwest and MUSCO Lighting has helped push the total purse for all classes to just under $40,000 for this event. The ticket prices for Friday night will be Adults $12, Students (7-13) $5, Kids (6 & Under) Free on Saturday night ticket prices will be Adults $15, Students (7-13) $5, Kids (6 & Under) Free.
