Luxemburg Speedway getting set for 2013 campaign

LUXEMBURG, Wis. (March 11, 2013) – With race season fast approaching, many tracks are getting ready for the 2013 season and Luxemburg Speedway is no exception.

Racing will again get underway all season at 7 p.m. on Friday nights at the Kewaunee County Fairgrounds. Sanctioned divisions running weekly are the IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks.

A car show will be put on at the Kewaunee County Fairgrounds on Saturday, April 6. The show will start at 10 a.m. with judging for the best appearing cars in all divisions.

There are two practice sessions to start the season, on April 19 and 26. The season opener is slated for Friday, May 3.

Because a tractor pull will be held on Saturday, June 1, there will be no racing on May 31.

Championship night is Friday, Aug. 30. The two-day Fall Special will be Sept. 13-14.

Luxemburg Speedway is located 15 minutes east of Green Bay off hHghway 54 at the Kewaunee County Fairgrounds.
