Lee County’s Spring Extravaganza pays $1,000 to IMCA Modified winner
DONNELLSON, Iowa (March 23) – A $1,000 to win feature for IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds headlines Lee County Speedway’s Friday, March 29 Spring Extravaganza.
The Modified race is a Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods both run for $500 to win, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $300 to win and Mach-1 Sport Compacts for $200 to win.
IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing national, regional and Allstar Performance State points will be awarded.
Pit gates at Donnellson open at 5 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5:30 p.m. Hot laps are at 6:45 p.m. and racing starts at 7:15 p.m.
Entry fees are $30 for Modifieds, $25 for Stock Cars and Northern SportMods, $20 for Hobby Stocks and $15 for Sport Compacts. Grandstand admission is $12 for adults, $6 for students ages 7-17, and free for six and under. Pit passes are $25.
