Springfield Raceway Ready for Action Sat Night
SPRINGFIELD, MO (May 1, 2012) – Following a rainout last Sat night, The Springfield Raceway will be back in action Sat.night with round number 2 of the Transport Graphics Championship Chase.
Action will feature the USRA Budweiser Modifieds, USRA Reliable Chevrolet GM Performance B-Mods,Casey’s General Stores Midwest Modz,Pepsi Pure Stocks,Wheeler Metals Legends and Young Lions Legends,and the Williams Lawn Care Street Stocks.Opening points night saw 90 race teams checked into the Speedway and provided outstanding racing action in all classes.
Grandstand gates will open at 5PM with hotlaps slated to begin around 6PM and Racing at 7PM.Drivers meeting will be before hot-laps around 5:40PM.
Grandstand Adult Admission is only $12 for Adults while kids 6-12 are only $5 and under 6 Free.Pit passes are $25
Current point leaders include Erik Maggard(USRA Modifieds),of Brighton,Scott Drake(USRA B-Mods) of Webb City,Rusty Forrest(Midwest Modz) of Ozark,Mike Hailman(Legends) of Reed Springs,Jack Hamer(PureStocks) of Ava, Wayne Morris(Street Stocks)of Miami,Okla and Wesley Smith(Young Lions) of Nixa while defending track champions are Jackie Dalton(USRA Modifieds),Bobby Maggard Jr(USRA B-Mods),Trevor Drake(Midwest Modz),Jack Hamer(PureStocks) and Dave Comer(Legends).

The Speedway will be hosting the John Kuntz Memorial presented by Andy’s Frozen Custard on Sat May 12th featuring the 2nd round of battles between the MLRA and MARS Super LateModels along with support classes.
